We are sad to say we lost Scooby to cancer in the first lock down. We still miss him and so did our 15 year old cocker who passed away in the second lock down . Thankyou Keighley for the joy of having a dog as good play full as scooby was . They are both missed and thought of everyday x๐Ÿ˜ข

Sadly we had to say our goodbyes to our much loved Baxter on the 5th February.
He was approaching his 15th birthday in July, having come to us from NWESSR in 2006 as a new puppy after Mum was rescued whilst expecting.
Everything we read and expect from Springers was embedded in Baxterโ€™s DNA; Springy, always running, loved the water, always had a stick or tennis ball, great with people and children, great with other dogs, loved the cat (Tigger), and mostly daft!
Age and illness, failing sight and hearing, they have all been features in recent years, bravely borne, but just too much to see him suffering any more. So much unconditional joy, excitement, love and companionship,
Youโ€™re the best Baxter X

It is with a very heart that I am writing to let you know that we lost our beloved girl Tess on Tuesday Feb 2nd. We adopted Tess on 9th March 2013 & have had 8 wonderful years with her sharing our home and enjoying the company of Missy, Jeeves & Taffy. She was brave until the end & now running pain free, and passed over the rainbow bridge, to meet Jeeves & Missy again. xxxx

I wanted to write to tell you about my beautiful girl, Lily. I adopted Lily back in August 2018 following a very neglected history which included a collar so tight it had to be removed and mites aswell as other issues. From the moment I saw her, I loved her more than anything else in the world despite her hair loss etc, our eyes met at the vets and we knew. It has been just over two years now and she is a happy contented energetic girl, exceptionally bright and, as all dogs, is extremely perceptive. We now have an incredible bond and I love her more than ever. She still has issues, cruciate disease in all of her legs and bad arthritis in her rear hind leg but despite that, we have not had to put her through surgery yet as the vets (and Fitzpatricks !!) feel that miraculously "I should continue what I have been doing as it is definitely helping her". I am amazed by her resilience, her strength to get through everything she has been through and above her, her beautiful soul. Lily is now a happy very well looked after (!) beautiful dog, a world away from her previous life thank goodness.
One thing I will say is that it takes great committment and some funding to help a dog who has gone through so much, but I can tell you, you can do it by hook or by crook, and it is so worth it to have her smiling face look at you every day. God bless you all who have adopted xx

We happily adopted Teddy back in August and we absolutely love him to bits, he has settled in so well, he goes to the paddock twice a week where he can exercise his fetch ball obsession and is walked twice daily, he is the king of his garden and sits in the garden in the mornings surveying is territory just in case a cat should wander in on the off chance he isn't there.

He loves his bed during the day and his toy box at night, he adores nothing more than to jump in the car and drive and sit and watch the world go by. His highlight is the long walks with brother Hoomen at the weekends, he has been to Cannock Chase and the Wrekin, he walks much better on a lead now too and doesn't pull your arm out of the socket, unless he see's a squirrel, that is a different story.

It is safe to say he has found his forever home and we have found our perfect companion for our family . Big thanks to Wendy and NWESSR who matched us with Teddy.

Canโ€™t believe itโ€™s 12 months today since we collected Fergie and Tara from the kennels. They are lovely natured dogs and have both settled well and are fit and healthy. They have been a gift to us during lockdown, but unfortunately weโ€™ve been unable to fulfil our plans for all the places we were going to take them. Hopefully next year for more adventures.

We were lucky to be considered as adopters as we are so far away, but we are so grateful that you took us on. We have had Milo and Charlie since October and they are such joys. We canโ€™t imagine life without them. Milo will spin on his nose for a ball or a stick, but his favourite is the hose, and Charlie is just the best running mate. They love their daily romps across the fields and coming home to hunt their food in the back garden. We adore them. Thank you.

Wanted to update about Benji.
Benji came to us at the end of December 2019. He has settled extremely well and is such a joy to have around. He loves snuggles with us and loves running in the park or on the beach daily with his ball. He loves that i am home with him all day, not working. Eating, sleeping and playing well. He is such a good boy with our young grandson too. Hope this helps the family who had to give him up.

We have been proud owners of Oscar (father) and Vinny (son) for 2 weeks. Oscar seems quite quiet and assesses everything that is going on, whilst Vinny just wants to have fun. Even though we are on lockdown at the moment with the virus we have been able to let them run around our field and enjoy stretching their legs. They have wonderful personalities and look forward to enjoying many fun years with them.

Benji is settling in very well. He has finally stopped barking at the radiator when it warms up and clicks ๐Ÿ˜Š he is adapting well to the halti lead - he isnโ€™t keen but he will get used to it. He has a very high prey drive. Birds flying over are still worth chasing after. He met a cat as we turned a corner. It was a bit quicker than him but only just. There was fur on his lips so thatโ€™s how close he was. Looking forward to taking him up to Scotland and trying him on the beach.
