A Farewell to Midge

In November we had to have our English Springer Midge
(aka Sammy) put to sleep after his health and happiness
came to an end following a stroke the previous year.

We brought him home from the rehoming centre nr Runcorn
when he was a sleek and svelte young dog then in 2001.

Midge lived to a fantastic old age – well over 18! Some
members may remember him running about rather dottily
at the NWESSR open days when we were holding the plant
stall.

We like to remember him as always full of energy and vitality- a bright spark.
