We rehomed Dexter from your Runcorn kennels 10 years ago. We were his 4 th home and he was still only 1 year old. He was so anxious around people for the first year but with love and patience he has been the best dog and we adore him.
He is such a cuddly friendly dog and although he has cataracts and arthritis he still enjoys his walks and strangely enjoys my husband taking the bins out! Think thatโ€™s because he gets a treat for helping.
Dexter is slower these days but he has enriched our lives and as a family we love him so much. I am pleased to say we were his forever home. ๐Ÿ˜

To Chloe Wilson re Charlie
What a coincidence, your request hadnโ€™t been published when I wrote to the guestbook.
As I said Charlie is thriving. He is an absolute joy to share each new day with, every one greeted with unbridled enthusiasm!
We appreciate the hard work and training you obviously put in with him, he is very well behaved with good manners.
Please rest assured he is loved enormously.

Re Charlie
Just in case Charlieโ€™s previous family check the website for updates; having been at Mitton Hall kennels since October (who did a fabulous job with him) Charlie has lived with us for eight weeks now. He has such a lust for life and is full of joy. Everyone who meets him comments on what a happy soul he is. He absolutely loves running in the pinewoods, sand dunes, and the beach, sploshing or swimming at every opportunity. We are lucky to have a large garden which he delights in.
His nervousness is fading in to the back ground and he is responding to new situations really well. He takes his time getting to know people but every now and again will astound us, like when he walked over to a stranger in the vets (on a โ€˜social and familiarisation visit), sat leaning against her legs and demanded a fuss!
In short he settled in quicker and better than we could ever have dreamt, and we can say with confidence he enriches our lives as much as it appears we do his.
Thanks to Sandra and the team at Mitton Hall and to Michael at NWESSR. Also to Charlieโ€™s previous owners for doing the best thing for Charlie by taking him there.

We had to give up Charlie in October 2017 after loving him for nearly 9 years. We miss him every day and we were recently given the news heโ€™d been rehomed.
To whom ever is lucky enough to have my gorgeous boy, please could we get some photos of him or an update on how heโ€™s getting on. We had no choice but to give him up for adoption but hope heโ€™s found owners who love him as much as we do.

Hi, I'd just like to thank you all for the terrific job you do in rescuing and rehoming springers!
I currently have a beautiful girl Breeze to look after who was more like a tornado when she was picked up from Warrington over 6 years ago.!
She is the nicest natured , gentle creature I have ever known and of course has won our hearts.
Although she is slowing down somewhat as she is now over 12 years old ; each morning she is like a young
puppy so full of beans!
I hope we enjoy her for a few more years at least!
Thanks again!

We adopted Jess (was Amy) 10 years ago when we lived in Lancashire. She was very challenging and pretty poorly when we got her. After 10 years and still suffering with osteoarthritis and having slipped a disc, sheโ€™s still a beautiful dog enjoying life to the full. She had been abused but is the most trusting loving dog. She hates certain noises, mobile phones, and chases lights and reflections, but I think weโ€™ve given her a great life and sheโ€™s a very happy, content dog. Weโ€™ll be forever grateful to you for introducing us to Jess. Iโ€™m sure youโ€™re still doing a great job.

Hello,

This is a message for Christine Kelly from Lancashire. We re-homed Alfie and wanted to let you know he is absolutely adorable! All the hard work that you did with him showed as soon as he was here. Your note/letter that came with him was invaluable to us and definately helped him to settle in with us quickly. We would love to share some pictures of him with you! X

Hi - thought I'd just add an update on our gorgeous Sammie (Samantha) just in case her previous owners ever checked in here. She's 5 now but still doesn't look a day over 12 months old. We've had the pleasure of owning her for over 3 years now and not a single day goes by without us being so grateful for having her. She's just perfect in every way, always happy and a real character . We really enjoy attending Crufts every year on behalf of NWESSR talking to people about adopting NWESSR dogs and just generally charming the public, she such a show off.

I am the author of Rescue Me - Dollyโ€™s story.
Yesterday I appeared on channels 4โ€™s Countdown programme. I managed to talk about nwessr and as a result have had a number of orders for the book. It is going well. Over ยฃ800 in profit so far for the charity. Watch the programme on catch up to see how we did. Dolly is fine although has arthritis in both elbows so has slowed down โ€˜a bitโ€™.

This is a message for Debbie, who was asking about Oscar. We are his new family and have always wondered whether he's done things like the beach before!
He's such a fabulous dog and we love him to bits, he still gets a bit anxious from time to time but he is incredibly loving and such a handsome boy!
We will keep his stories up to date on this website, along with photos so you can see what he's up to. But thank you for giving us the chance to let him join our family, we absolutely love him to bits xx
