Tuco

The owners of one of our rescue dogs have been in touch to say that their dog Tuco has recently passed away.

Please see below for his epitaph from his owners.

It is with the greatest of sadness that we wish to inform you of the devastating loss of our beloved boy Tuco.

We adopted Tuco from NWESSR after he had spent many months in kennels in Ireland. He came to us very underweight and we were shown pictures of him that broke our hearts. We fell in love immediately.

Once he came home with us, he very quickly became a massive part of our lives and was a huge part of our hearts. He was the most loving, gentle-natured dog you could ever hope for, and fitted in with our other dogs straight away.

Sadly, on 1st May 2017, we had to make the hardest decision any dog parent has to make. We had to say goodbye to our darling boy. Unfortunately, his back legs were failing, and he deteriorated very quickly. We could not see him suffer, and could not put him through any more distress than he had already had in his early days.

Our boys’ ashes are now back at home and he is with his brothers and sister and is at peace. We miss him terribly every day and still see him in the corner of our eyes from time to time. He will always be with us.

R.I.P. our beautiful boy .. we love you and miss you Tuco … Goodnight xxxxx

We would ask NWESSR to add Tuco to the Gone but not forgotten page.

Kindest regards

Claire and Iain
