 Thought I’d update you on Ralph as he has been with us a year now. He is wonderful. So much more settled and he seems quite attached to us too! He’s in a really good routine and responds well to this. He’s still rather unpredictable in the home but no problem if left to approach people when he wants to; he’s very wary if people approach him. Outside he’s friendly and approachable with people and tends to ignore other dogs, though very occasionally wants to play.

He is enjoying swimming at Canine Health and Hydro to help his knees and walking very happily on an extending lead. We all enjoyed walking along the canal yesterday though got rather muddy on the return journey through fields.

Maybe we’ll be back on the hills before long. Trying at present to keep to even ground where there’s less chance of him twisting his knees again.
