Wilson

Five-year old Wilson is not short of admirers amongst the kennel staff 😁 Our dog walkers describe him as “a super happy lad, who absolutely loves his countryside adventures, even when he gets soaked to the bone. Then it’s back to base for a good old fuss and a treat.”

Wilson lived contentedly with his male owner who adored him. Sadly, the family dynamic changed six months ago, when he moved in with a partner and young child. This was a huge change for Wilson who wasn’t finding it easy to fit in. So the decision to rehome him was taken. Wilson needs a child-free home.

Wilson will settle better as an only dog, however, he is quite curious and out on his lead he will allow other dogs to sniff him and he will do the same. Off the lead he is not particularly interested in other dogs, although he has been happy to play with two Labradors. He will need a home with no cats.

Wilson will pull initially, then walks quite well on the lead. His recall is not well established and will need a little improvement.

Lovely Wilson will thrive in a calm home and needs to return to the stability he once enjoyed, where he is given good exercise and mental stimulation. In return he will become your loyal companion.
