General Volunteers
We need volunteers to come forward to be added to a general list. A pool, which when we require a volunteer for a one off task, whatever it may be, we can give you a call.
Ralph
Name: Ralph
Age: 4 Years
Colour: Liver and White
About me:
I found a forever home in October 2016.
I am neutered, W/T vaccinated and chipped. I am fine around cats, other dogs, live stock and kids.
I pull on my lead in excitement when out and about but do return to my owners when called. I travel well and don’t mind being left alone for several hours(5)
Looking for new owners as my previous owner put his hand inside my cage and I bit him.
Buster
Name: Buster
Age: 2 ½ Years
Colour: Liver & White
About me:
Buster was rehomed late may 2016
Buster is a 2 and a half year old neutered ‘working type’ male who has been to date, micro-chipped and is house-trained.
He is used to being left for short-periods without a problem.
He is OK with other dogs and with livestock, but does chase cats.
He pulls on the lead but does have a good recall and is trained to the whistle.
He loves to play ball but can be a little possessive of the ball, therefore, two balls are required! Buster can also be a little bit ‘mouthy’ when playing.

Fun day 2015 – RESULT
Firstly on behalf of all the Trustees a massive thank you to all the volunteers and of course all of those who supported the event by attending. What a day and with good weather on the whole; who would have believed it? The café and cakes this year managed to raise its highest ever amount and even with investment in equipment that was needed we raised a staggering £2,049.85. Below are the winners of the various classes and games, but as we all know every dog and owner who entered was a winner! Photos can be found on the link below. Why not block out Sunday 26 June 2016 in your diary, same place, same time! Programme will follow in early 2016, but in the meantime if you would like a stall or can spare 30 minutes of your time to help please contact karen.thomson@live.com
