Rupert

✍️Hello everybody, my name is Rupert, I’m three and a half years old, and I’m what NWESSR would describe as ‘another happy ending 💖
I went to my forever home at the end of August and I’ve got my little Springer paws right under the table. I go on lovely walks, and I’ve even been to a beach 🥳 It was was soooooooooooooooooooo big I could have run about on it all day long 🐾🐾🐾
Sometimes we play training games, which I’m pretty good at, even though I say so myself. I’ll do anything for a biscuit, or should I say, lambs liver chunks – only the best for me please, I’m a connoisseur! 😋
I saw my Mum typing an email to NWESSR and it said “We have some great walks with Rupert and love spending time with him. He is showing more and more affection to us all as the weeks go by and we think he has settled into his forever home very well.“
HOW NICE IS THAT?! 😍😍😍
I hope you like my photos and my happy story, lots of love, Rupert 😘

Jack

Hi, my name is Jack, and I had bit of a bad start as a Springer Spaniel, 🐕 but thanks to all your good wishes and the NWESSR trainer, Anthony’s kindness & patience, 😍 helping me understand that I can trust people, I have some great news folks!!
A lovely couple came and adopted me, which is just so wonderful ❤️and have taken me to live with them in their home 🏡
They are so kind and gentle with me. It’s not that I’m a big softy or anything, but it just makes me feel so good and calm.
I can have the run of the house, which apparently includes the kitchen worktops, well dad left his tea there, and of course, I assumed he didn’t want it, as one would, so I thought, 🤔 well best help him out. Well blow me, it seems he did! Well we laughed 😅 🤣, at least mum and me did..
I’m absolutely 💯 loving my new routine and long walks, meeting other people and their dogs. In the daytime my favourite place is to lay on the landing outside mum and dad’s office, I feel I need to keep an eye on them, and by the way, a ginger cat 🐈 I can see through the window, got to keep a close eye on him!
At night I decided that the only way I can get some decent kip, is to stay downstairs, someone snores 😴 no names, I’m not that kind of Springer….🤫
When I first got home I did have, what you might call, a little mishap, 😏but now I’ve trained mum and dad that my morning call is 6am and my evening constitutional is 11pm, all is well.
Mum and dad say I’m a lovely little character and tell they love me and I can feel their love in my heart ❤️

Blu

Hello, Blu here, writing to you from my new sofa!
The brown and white Springer next to me, pretending to be asleep is Dylan, he is now my best buddy.
I’ve been soooooooooooooooo busy since I arrived in my new forever home.
Mum takes me running with her and I’ve started to learn mantrailing and scentwork. We Springers are clever creatures don’t you know, and we like to have special activities to do which make the most of our brains and noses.
I’ve also had a few motorhome trips which were fantastic.
My wonderful new family loves me and I’m a very happy boy.

Ruben

Hello! to all my lovely friends who said all those nice things about me on the NWESSR Facebook page, when I was looking for a new forever home. Well it worked!  A really nice family came to meet me and said I was perfect🥰 and decided that they wanted to take me home🏡
I settled down in the car with my new human sister, so I didn’t feel anxious,  mum sat in the front and dad drove the car🚗
They were telling me all about what my new life had in store, I was so curious.
I’ve had quite a few adventures,  I can tell you! I met this spikey creature in the field🦔 couldn’t make that out, but then I spotted a fury thing with floppy ears and a white tale, 🐇 my goodness I enjoyed chasing that, but it got away!
Then on Sunday,  a roast dinner arrived, and I thought yippee a roast joint🍗 just for me ! Apparently it was for all of us, woops😅 but it was very nice👍. Anyway this happened after such a lovely long walk in the forest,  I was very hungry as you’d expect.
The following week  I went to a really busy place to see dad’s friend complete a marathon,  I did think I’d be scared😱 but dad kept me close to him, so I knew I’d be safe.
I’ve met lots of doggy🐕 friends and I’m happy to see them, so that’s fine😊
I’ve been for a lovely swim🏊 in the river,  which was great fun!
Apparently I found my inner Springer Spaniel, as I’m working, sniffing for prey to flush and coming back on recall, cool or what😎
I’ve got so good at my early morning alarm&# call, dad said, ‘you my boy, can have another job’, as his PA, whatever that means, so off I go one day a week, with dad👨.  Still not worked out the PA bit, but the person who is also a PA like me, has got me a lovely bed and lots of toys, so seems good to me..
On Sunday we all go to the pub for lunch, I get mine in my own special bowl🥣,  so no self service, never mind.
My sister,  mum and dad👪 telling me they really love🧡 me, and I really love them with all my heart…..
PS I’ve sent some photos I hope you like them 🤞 xx

Tucker

Hello lovely people, I’m Tucker 👋✍ writing to you from my new NWESSR home.

I’m 11 years old but you wouldn’t know it to look at me, and I can run like the wind!

I’m settling in very well, making new friends and enjoying lots of very energetic walks up on the moors and by the river. We’re going to visit a place called The Lakes soon for a little holiday, and I might have myself a little swim in one of them😍

I’m not very good at staying still for photos but I’ve done my best! When I’m upside down in my bed like this my folks say I’m “completely Tuckered”🤣

Bye for now, love and licks, Tucker😘

Sirius

Hello, I’m Sirius, I’m named after a Star because I am one 🌟 I’m writing to you from my lovely new home in the Yorkshire countryside.

I’m 4 years old and I had to find a new family recently. I was a bit worried, as you can imagine, but now I have settled in and life is good!

We’re taking things gradually, but I’ve been on a lovely trip to meet my Grandma and I heard that there is a camping trip coming up soon 🤩🥳🤩

My new Mum has told NWESSR that it is a joy to come down every morning and be greeted by me.

Here’s a photo of me doing my Yoga class 😂🤣😂

Mia

Well hello to all the NWESSR team, its Mia!
I got up this morning and I thought of you all, so decided I’d send you an email 📧, it’s amazing what we Springer Spaniels can do!
Mum and Dad have bought me some lovely toys to play with and treat me to some lovely walks, sometimes with friends and their doggies🐕
I’m so happy in my new forever home with I’m truly over the moon🌙
I go out for long walks, mostly with Mum, to some lovely places. Everyone we meet, Mum tells them I’m a dream of a girl 😍
Apparently, so Mum says, Springers usually pull on their leads, take ages to come back when called, and suffer temporary deafness when we see birds or rabbits 🐇. Well I’ve never heard the like of it!
I love the small humans because they play like puppies 🐶 which is a real joy. Mum has a small human granddaughter,  apparently she was nervous of some dogs, but she just loves me and I love her too.💕 . I really look forward to her visits.
I’m so pleased you found my new Mum and Dad for me, I really love them, 🧡 and I know they love me.
Big licks, Mia xx

Otto

Our lovely boy Otto was adopted a few weeks ago, and now we’ve had an update from his new family!

“Here are some photos of our handsome boy Otto, sunning himself in the garden and enjoying a romp in the park.  He is a very relaxed and happy dog!

He is absolutely thriving and thoroughly enjoys a variety of long walks each day on the beach or in the countryside.  Since he arrived he is gaining in confidence, he loves his walks and his toys. If he thinks that he is not getting sufficient attention, then he brings an item to them – like a slipper or dustpan!

He is an absolute delight and brings us so much pleasure and is so gentle and well-mannered with everyone he meets – he has won our hearts!

Thank you again for all your help in getting Otto to us.”

Harry & Max

Hi folks, Harry and Max here. We wanted to let all the lovely people at NWESSR know that we are really settling into our new forever home, we just love it

We were a bit nervous at first, because we didn’t really understand why we went home with a new couple to a new place. But on the journey back to our new home, Dad and Mum told us that they had bought a new car, just for us, so that we could travel in real luxury with lots of space, we started to think, well this is interesting!

When we got home we just dashed into the house to have a look around and we were very impressed. Harry was not too sure about the cat at first, who was clearly very settled in. I wasn’t bothered, but over the weeks, Harry has got used to it, so we can all enjoy the love and affection in equal shares that Dad and Mum give us.

We have lots of big spaces close to where we live to walk and run and have fun, which is just Great. Every evening after a good walk we all go into the sitting room, which has three very comfortable sofas, and settle down, sometimes Dad and Mum watch the TV, while we we have a really good snooze. Dad and Mum say we snore very loudly! That can’t be us!

We’ve had a few trips in our car to different places which is nice, and next month we’re all going camping  so that sounds so exciting. Anyway Dad and Mum are getting their boots on so it looks like we’re off for a walk, yippee! We hope you like the photos

Bye for now, love Harry and Max xx

Murphy

Hello, I’m Murphy and I’m here to tell you that I’ve found my forever home! I’ve moved to Lancashire to live in the countryside with my new family. I now have an older brother called Charlie, he’s a spaniel as well, which is great because spaniels are the best! I have a nice big garden to play in and a very comfy sofa to relax on. Heaven!

My new owners say I’m doing really well, I’ve got a few bad habits, mostly involving food (oops), but they are very patient and are teaching me how to be a good boy.

I know there are lots more Springers like me in need of a new home and it would make me very happy if they could have a lovely new life like mine. If you could adopt a gorgeous Springer like me, why not visit https://www.englishspringerrescue.co.uk/vetting-form/ to see what’s involved, and fill in an application?

Lots of love, Murphy
