I am sad let you know that Bertie had to be put to sleep on December 27th 2016. He had become ill a couple of weeks ago and suddenly got much worse over Christmas.

We collected Bertie 29th October 2009 he could often be grumpy if he didn’t want to do something.  But he was always more than willing to be fussed and play games.

Loved his walks twice a day in the fields behind our house and became a loyal and devoted friend.  He definitely enjoyed the last seven years with us.  The whole family miss him dreadfully.
