Ozzy

✍️✍️Hello, it’s Ozzy here.
I’m here to share my good news, because I’m feeling pretty pleased with myself right now!
I had a lovely 11th birthday in June and thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes🥳
Then I got a very special award from Dogs Day Out – a big shiny cup, just for me, and I’m so proud!
The best part is that I’ve been adopted and I’m now part of a kind and understanding family who are helping me to live my best life. I know everyone at NWESSR misses me though, so I have promised to keep in touch!
Love and licks, Ozzy xxx

Diamond

Hello Springer lovers ♦️️ Diamond here ♦️️️️ writing to you from my lovely new home in Lancashire!
You might remember me, I was looking for a new home a couple of months ago. I came to NWESSR for help and they matched me up with a family who were looking for a lovely young Springer just like me!
I heard them telling NWESSR that they are delighted with me, and describe me coming to live with them, as making their lives complete. They say I’m absolutely adorable, full of life with a truly Springer nature. How good is that?! 😁
I am enjoying my long walks with Mum and and we’ve all been away to a big thing called a caravan 🤩 Best of all are trips in the Lake District and to the beach 🥳
Thank you to NWESSR for helping me, and my new family for adopting me and giving me my best life 😘😘😘

Bodie

Hello 👋 my name is Bodie.
I’ve been with my new human for 6 weeks now and I’m loving life 😍
We go for lots of lovely walks… mum says I’m 95% a good boy off my lead. I especially love the beach….. though I’m a little scared of the big waves. Mum says they’re not big at all but I don’t think she realises I’ve only got little legs!! We sometimes stop at the beach cafe where I get a yummy doggy sausage 😋 bonus!
Mum works part-time from home so I’m never lonely and get lots of cuddles…. cuddles are the BEST 🥰 I go out with a dog walker on Mondays and get to play with lots of other dogs… I’m proper pooped when I get home 😴💤
Thank you to NWESSR for finding me my forever home 💙💙💙

Fawn

“It’s a dream come true”
Little Fawn found her forever home through NWESSR a few weeks ago.
She is adored by her new Mum and Dad 🥰
Not yet two years old, Fawn still has lots to learn, but she’s a clever little lady and her new family are taking it slowly, introducing her gradually to all the wonders of the world.
She’s getting lots of love and praise and their patient approach means she’s not overwhelmed. Her favourite activities are going to the beach, finding toys and she’s very interested in gardening 😂😂😂
And just look at that Splendid Spaniel Sprawl 🤩🤩🤩
Well done Fawn and family, we love a happy ending!!

Murphy

Murphy’s settled into his new NWESSR home and here’s what his new family has to say about him:

“We have had a busy few weeks! Murphy has come along to my walking group and loved every mile of the walk. He did part of the 8 miles off lead and he decided a nice muddy brook was just the place to be! 🙃
He has long walks on the beach and loves the sea. We play ball which is his favourite pastime. His lead work is coming on and he pulls much less and his recall is fab.
We work from home most days so he usually has company and has even joined some of my works meetings on Teams and is very popular. 🤣
He has met lots of doggy friends and is very relaxed by it all and likes nothing more than a tummy rub and a springer sprawl !
He really is a delight and he has made our house a home again.” 💙🩵💙

Marshall

This gorgeous boy is Marshall. He’s 12 years young and has found his forever home!
Most people who apply to adopt are looking for a younger dog, so we thought we would need to work pretty hard to find a home that would be the right one for Marshall.
HOW WRONG WE WERE! 🥰
When Marshall’s new Dad met him it was love at first sight, the feeling was mutual, and they are now both living their best lives – together 💙🩵💙
Who doesn’t love a happy ending! 😍

Oakley (aka Oake)

✍️✍️ Hello, this is Oakley here. You probably know me as Oake.

I have been in my new home five weeks now and it is great fun 😍 We go on lots of walks to a big country park. We go to a section that is fenced off where I can run off the lead, chasing birds and squirrels. I have loads of energy so I don’t get tired. My mum says that I do pull sometimes on the lead but that is because I am excited, but I do get treats when we go walking and I behave.

I have met some other dogs including Toby, whose garden joins onto ours, so we can bark at each other easily 🤣 I have a good garden to play in, including a pond which is fun as I like to watch the frogs. I have to patrol the garden to chase the birds away.

I have got a lovely new bed in front of the TV but I do like to have a cuddle sat on my mums knee. We have had lots of visitors who have said that I am lovely and lucky to have a new home. I have been to visit of the younger humans at her house, and she says I can stay there in the day sometimes if Mum and Dad have to go out, so I am not left for a long time. That house has a big garden to run around in also.

We are going on holiday soon to the Forest of Dean with the younger humans 🥳🥳🥳 There will be lots of nice walks and there is a river, but Mum says I am not allowed to go in. I will have to behave as there will be another dog there, who is a bit nervous 😬🙃🤣

Thank you for helping me find my forever family, love and licks, Oakley xxx

Bernard

Gorgeous boy Bernard has undergone a bit of an upheaval recently, but we are over the moon to report that he’s settled in well to his forever home, and is now loving life.
He loves his walks and has found some new doggy friends. He is great off the lead but does have selective deafness 🙃🙃
Bernard’s new Mum says he has already got her wrapped round his little paw, and it seems they are a match made in heaven 🧡🤎🧡

Gus

“Hi I’m Gus 👋
I’ve been with my new owner for just over six weeks, and settling in extremely well. As well as usual pit stops, I go on three 45 minutes walks each day. I shouldn’t admit it, I get a ‘little’ tired later on in the day.
I’ve been so good, on walks, I am off lead over fields and on woodland. Woodland is my favourite, there’s plenty of Fox P** and wood chippings to roll in, and a brook and lake to splash around in.
I’ve had a haircut, met lots of other dogs/humans, visited my new Pet Shop and Vet friends. All good, thank you👍🐾🐾🐾 “

Oscar

Oscar’s finally found his forever home and he’s celebrating with his favourite toy 🥳

Well done Oscar, welcome to your new life where lots and lots of love, patience and fun await you 🧡🧡🧡
