HI, our Springer Spaniel Rescue story

I thought you might like to hear our success story for Rommel (was Logan). We picked him up May 2017 and he was very skinny and in need of TLC. He wasn’t house trained and had an awful irritable bowel. After many trips to the vets and sleepless nights and tears thinking we were going to lose him, as at one point he was under 10kg. I am delighted to say he is a very healthy 17.5kg and has a wonderful coat but more importantly we would like to think he is in doggy heaven. We often get stopped by dog walkers who have seen him since we got him who have said how happy and healthy he looks.
He is also a fantastic beating dog with a charming character. I have been asked back to beat full time on a shoot my husband is a part of mainly due to how good Rommel is, a complete natural.

He has also got a really good relationship with Monty a 5 year old golden labrador who is also a gun dog (we say he is his older brother).

So thank you for this wonderful bundle of sunshine who has brought love and laughter into our lives so much so we have forgotten the tears and worries from last year.
